F1 Grid IQ — Privacy Policy

Last updated November 2, 2026

What we collect

How we use it

Solely to run the service: to log you in, generate your predictions and recommendations, track your league, and manage your subscription. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We don't share your data with anyone else.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies.

We also use one small first-party cookie, gi_attr, for 30 days to remember which kind of link first brought you here (for example Google search, Reddit, or a campaign link) so we can tell which of our channels actually help people find F1 Grid IQ. It contains only that source label and the page you landed on, never an identifier, your IP address or anything about you personally, and it is never shared. We don't set it for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. When you create an account, that source label is saved with your account. You can block or delete the cookie at any time without affecting the site.

A second first-party cookie, gi_vid, holds only a random id (for about 13 months) so we can count how many different people visit and how many come back, instead of just page loads. It contains nothing about you, is not linked to your IP address or your account, and is never shared. The same exclusions apply: we don't set it for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Blocking or deleting it doesn't affect the site.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and data, reach out on Discord.

Your rights over your data

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Just ask — we'll action it within 30 days and won't charge you for it.

If you're in the UK, EU or EEA, the UK/EU GDPR gives you those rights formally, plus the right to object to or restrict how we use your data, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Our lawful bases are: contract (running your account and subscription), legitimate interests (keeping the service working and secure), and legal obligation (keeping payment records). We don't sell personal data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't make automated decisions that have legal effects about you.

If you're in California, we likewise don't sell or share your personal information, and you can ask us to disclose or delete what we hold without being treated differently for asking.

Where your data is held

F1 Grid IQ runs on Cloudflare and stores data in Cloudflare's D1 database; payments and card data are handled entirely by Stripe. Both are US-based providers, so if you're outside the US your data is processed in the United States under their respective safeguards. We never see or store card numbers.

Children's privacy

F1 Grid IQ isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of F1 Grid IQ after a change means you accept the updated policy.
